Project run and play sew along, going to the movies



With two little boys in our household somehow the Cars movie just sneaked in. And after Cars 2 Disney came up with a new (very smart) little boys magnet; Planes! Of course our rascals love this movie too. So for this week's theme it was obvious I should incorporate Planes into a garment somehow.

I decided to make rascal some pyjamas (he has outgrown most of them, so this is a very practical choice) based on Dusty's colour scheme: white, orange and black. I used the go to leggings pattern and the recess raglan. By lack of orange knit I painted a white one with textile paint and also added black striping. I added white cuffs to the legging for a more cohesive look and extra length.
