Project run & play season 10, 80's cartoons

Project run & play is here again! Well actually I'm a bit early, the first linkup is next Monday. This 10th edition has some fun themes to sew along, the first week is all about 80's cartoons. Ha 80's cartoons, that sure is a trip down memory lane, thinking of the snorks, seabert and ovide. Before you know it you're youtubing and singing along with the tunes. I finally chose the Jetsons as inspiration for my outfit, remember them?

I made big rascal a Ziggy top, a pattern by Madeit Patterns. This top has a boxy shape and is very comfy. The perfect longsleeve for fall. I altered the pattern slightly by using a different fabric for the shoulders and incorporated the Jetsons with a textile paint drawing.

  4. oh I forgot about the Jetsons!! Love this outfit, so wearable ;o) I'm currently hosting a sewing series called Sew Many Books. There is a sew a long {with prizes!} and not many entries ;o) If you have sewed anything inspired by a book in 2014 I'd love for you to come over and link it up. It doesn't have to be a new project. Head over to Nap-Time Creations and look up Sew Many Books...
