Our boys really like the pictures in this book and I've spotted little rascal the last couple of days "flying around" with his arms wide open, pretending to be an airplane. Due to this and the fact he's in desperate need of new pants, I made my little pilot a pair of aviator pants (a pattern by Winter Wear Designs). I used a grey sweatshirt fabric and a blue wool, recycled from an old maxiskirt. For now I just did the most basic version, but you can add all kinds of cargo and welt pockets to the pants. The size 3 fits perfectly. A really nice, comfy pair of sweatpants!
