Fabric decoration techniques, flock foil

Another day in the mini series on fabric decoration by Pienkel and me, to provide some inspiration for the sew along in our brand new Dutch facebook group. Today's technique is flock foil.
Big rascal is in desperate need of new PJ's and he requested one with a space theme, he's totally into anything space and astronauts- related right now. Well his wish is my command, so I sewed up my 10th Rowan tee (pattern by Titchy Threads) as a pajama top. Using a white knit and recycling an old striped shirt. For the application I choose a rocketship and used blue and red flock foil. I love how easy and fast this technique works, just draw, cut and iron on.

Weer een nieuwe dag in de textiel decoratie mini serie samen met Pienkel, om inspiratie te geven voor de sew along in onze nieuwe  facebook groep. De techniek van vandaag is flock folie.
Grote boef heeft dringend nieuwe pyjama's nodig en hij vroeg er een met een ruimte thema. Hij is helemaal dol op alles wat met de ruimte en astronauten te maken heeft. U vraagt, wij draaien, dus naaide ik mijn 10e Rowan shirt (patroon van Titchy Threads) als pyjama shirt. Ik gebruikte een witte tricot en recykleerde een out gestreept t-shirt. Als applicatie koos ik voor een raket en gebruikte blauwe en rode flock folie. Ik vind het heerlijk hoe makkelijk en snel deze techniek werkt, gewoon tekenen, uitknippen en strijken.
