Sewing my pattern stash #1 tanktop

One of my new year resolutions is to sew up my pattern stash this year. I still have a range of patterns I downloaded or bought but never made, so high time to make this happen. First up is an underwear pattern by van Katoen (in Dutch only). Big rascal has outgrown all his tanktops so I made him a couple new ones.

Sewing this tanktop is pretty basic and would probably have been a fast project if my serger would have behaved (I've rethreaded the thing 3 times, aaargh) I did make an alteration, instead of ribbing I used elastic biastape for the arms and neckhole. I recycled old shirts and kept the existing hem. Did you make sewing resolutions this year? Maybe some stash busting as well?

Your post just remind me that my daughter needs a couple of those too!. I have lots of new year's resolutions, but really none has been taken into action yet due to a horrible cold that has attacked my entire family. Hopefully soon i will be re-starting the year again!
