The Joyfits Rowan tee #parissewsocial

Yay, in between our campingtrips I finally found some time to wash all my #parissewsocial fabrics and get behind my sewing machine.

Fabrics

One of the fabrics I received is a really nice green organic jersey with little bmx bikes on it. The fabric is by Nosh and was given to me by Joyfits. Joyfits is a Dutch online fabric shop specialised in jersey. Marloes has something for everyone whether you like solids, stripes, dots or prints.

Apart from the Nosh jersey I received from Joyfits, there are also goodies sponsored by Nosh itself, like the ribbed knit used for the armcuffs (and a mustard jersey, but I'm saving that one for another project). I've sewn with Nosh jersey before and I really like the quality, it makes sewing with knits easy! This ribbed knit was new to me. I must admit I never found a ribbed knit with a good stretch recovery, so I was a bit sceptical at first, but this Nosh ribbed knit worked really well. I definitely need to get more.

The pattern I used is my all time favorite, the Rowan tee by Titchy Threads. Regular readers already know how much I love this pattern. Laura is also one of the Paris sponsors, I picked the cloud 9 swimming shorts and tank pattern, so I'll be tackling the challenge of sewing swimwear soon!

And if you were wondering where we did this photoshoot, it's at our national park Hoge Veluwe, or the Van Gogh park, as it's called internationally. The white bikes are free to ride all through the park.

* I received these fabrics as a gift from our Paris Sew Social sponors. However all opinions are as always honest and my own.

  1. That jersey looks like some quality fabric...and FUN (especially for knits....which is always difficult to find). Looking forward to checking out the shop for other prints!!
