Mulberry TunicI finally got to make the Mulberry Tunic, a pattern by Olga, the blogger behind Kid Approved. Actually I had my eyes on this one ever since it came out as part of the Willow & Co collection and I've seen some amazing versions around the blogosphere already.
I went with the short sleeved hooded option in a size 3 and just love the result! The tunic has a nice, roomy fit and this version is just perfect for summer, light and breezy. I can definitely see myself sewing up a longsleeved version in flannel for the fall season as well.
Nutta & Mon DepotSo now let's talk fabric! The plaided fabric is a lovely Japanese linen/cotton blend from Nutta Fabric. Shino has two other gorgeous plaided colour combo's in her shop as well, I just think I need them all.
I matched the plaided woven with a blue jersey we received from Mon Depot, a Belgian online fabric shop, I used it on this tee as well.
Give AwayAnd you, do you want the sew up a Mulberry tunic? Than this could be your lucky day because I'm allowed to give away one Kid Approved pattern. Just enter the rafflecopter below, it's open from now till the 10th of July!
