Mulberry Tunic

I finally got to make the Mulberry Tunic, a pattern by Olga, the blogger behind Kid ApprovedActually I had my eyes on this one ever since it came out as part of the Willow & Co collection and I've seen some amazing versions around the blogosphere already.

The tunic has a nice, roomy fit and this version is just perfect for summer, light and breezy. I can definitely see myself sewing up a longsleeved version in flannel for the fall season as well.

Nutta & Mon Depot

So now let's talk fabric! The plaided fabric is a lovely Japanese linen/cotton blend from Nutta Fabric. Shino has two other gorgeous plaided colour combo's in her shop as well, I just think I need them all.
I matched the plaided woven with a blue jersey we received from Mon Depot, a Belgian online fabric shop, I used it on this tee as well.
