Pencil skirt (pattern by Delia Creates) & giveaway winner #parissewsocial

Today I've got two things for you, more #parissewsocial sewing and the winner of the Mulberry Tunic give away.

Delia Creates Pencil Skirt

First up, the sewing. I followed in Pienkel's footsteps and sewed up a Delia Creates pleated pencil skirt in jersey. Delia has a nice tutorial on her blog how to adjust the pencil skirt pattern so it can be made with knits.

It's just perfect for two reasons: no zipper sewing and sooooo comfy to wear. Ha no make that three reasons, I'm sure I've never sewn a garment so quickly!

I'm normally not a pencil skirt kind of person, but this version can be easily dressed up or down. I like to wear mine a bit sporty with high tops and a tee or hoodie.

And now on to our giveaway winner. Congratulations Marjolein you've won the Mulberry Tunic pattern by Kid Approved!  There has an email been sent to you already. Enjoy the pattern!
