#Babysewsocial, Laura's online babyshower

Yay Laura, congrats on your little baby girl, hope everything goes well! Surprise, surprise, we're throwing you an online babyshower!

Harem pants and baby bunny hat, sewn by huisje boompje boefjes

Hi readers, as you can see, we have a little surprise for Laura, the designer and blogger behind Titchy Threads and Craftstorming. We all made a little something to celebrate little Willow, the newest member of the family. It was fun sewing up some baby goodies. Sometimes I wish I had discovered the joy of sewing earlier, I would have made my boys a lot of cute baby stuff, especially harem pants, I really loved those. Easy to put on, soft and warm for those little legs and cool and cute at the same time.

So, what did I make? Yes, tiny harem pants. I used a  free pattern by Shwin & Shwin, with one alteration, instead of using elastic I made a yogastyle waistband. I think that's even more comfy.
I added a little bunny eared hat, it's based on the double knot baby hat pattern by Pretty Prudent.
The grey feathered jersey came from Petite Couture. It's so cute!! Perfect little girls stuff.

And because I discovered Laura is also pretty good at cookie baking, I added a fun little cookie cutter.
