It's a loose fit raglan shirt with slightly different sleeve seams. A breeze to sew, just don't forget to add the seam allowance.
The striped sweater jersey is Lillestoff, the mustard I used for the cuffs and neckbinding are NOSH.
I really like this look, so you'll probably see more steampunks popping up over here.
Geweldig!
DeleteLovely fabric combination!
ReplyDeleteThx! Can't go wrong with stripes :)
DeleteHeel mooie trui!
ReplyDeleteOoh, nog even geduld dus! Goede timing :)
DeleteI just made my first ottobre pattern and loved it! This one is on my "to sew" list as well. Love the colours you chose!
ReplyDeleteThanks Diana, you should certainly make this one! Great comfy tee with a good fit.
DeleteSuper mooi!
ReplyDeletehi! this might be a dumb question, as I am relatively new to sewing from patterns...but do you need to always add seam allowance? does this mean to not cut exactly on the edge of the pattern but leave a little space for seam allowance? thanks!

ReplyDeleteHi Gina, adding seam allowances depends on the pattern. Most pdf patterns already have a seam allowance included so you don't have to add this. If you're sewing from an Ottobre magazine, you have to add that space to the edge of the patternpieces. It's always mentioned in the pattern if and how much allowance you have to add (usually 1cm).
Deletethanks so much!! hopefully I can find this pattern somewhere :)
