Signature style, it's blue, hooded and stripey

Hey all, welcome back here. Today is signature style day, closing week of Project Run and Play.
I think my regular readers would agree when I state that my style consists mainly out of blues and stripes, often hooded and preferably upcycled.

They do have preferences though. The youngest has a thing for soft pants and the oldest is going through a pocket fase. He walks around with his hands in his pockets at all times! Actually, he also runs with his hands in his pockets, goes iceskating with his hands in his pockets and would probably do this on his bike as well if he knew how the cycle with no hands. Needless to say, I can make him happy with garments that have pockets.

So today I present you our combined signature style look. Oversized with pockets just as my big rascal likes it. Blue, hooded with a hint of stripes and upcycled, just the way I like it.

The pants are again by Madeit Patterns, the Bookfold Trousers. I made them last year as a tester for the Fold collection, they were a bit big on him back then and he's finally growing in to them. I got a lot of compliments on these pants already, the design is really cool and different and people sure notice!

  1. Very you. and very cool - of course! I really like it! And I need to finally sew some Bookfold Trousers, too.

  2. I love this outfit so much! I really like how you added the hood to the Ziggy. And those trousers! I have had this pattern printed and taped together for a while. I think I need to get up the courage to give it a try. Yours is amazing!
