ADV Tee part two #londonsewsocial #kcw

In order to squeeze out an entire wardrobe this KCW I need to step up my game and try to get two hours of sewing in. So far so good, day one ends with two finished garments. I made big rascal an ADV Tee (pattern by Sofilantjes) of his own using this petrol jersey with geometrical shapes.

I must admit this jersey wasn't the easiest one to sew. I didn't realise it at first, but if you stretch it too much the colours become more white and the same happened when I had to unpick a little part of a basting stitch. I'll take more care when I'm sewing with this fabric in the future.

I decided to hem the sleeves this time instead of making cuffs and thanks to our #londonsewsocial sponsor Aurifil I had the perfect thread colour. Oh and look at that cute pincushion, Maria from mycozyco made it, isn't it just the best? Thanks again Maria, I love it!!

Next on my list: shorts! Fingers crossed I'll manage to make two of them again.
