Those of you that visit me regularly know I have a thing for hoodies, especially the blue or striped ones. Well, todays hoodie is blue... and somewhat different. I used scuba to create a hoodie that doubles as a jacket. Perfect for outdoor playing during autumn and spring. Sewing with scuba is quite fun, but, as you can see, pressing it isn't easy.....
The Louis pattern has a hood or collar option, additional elbow patches and a kangaroo pocket. I sized up one size because of the scuba I used and this turned out perfect. The only alteration I made to the pattern was skipping the lining for the hood and pocket, I just left the edges raw.
If you're looking for a nice, basic hoodie pattern with a regular fit, this is it, you can't go wrong! Oh and there's a sale, the Louis and the Palouis (yep the adult version of this sweater) are 20% off until the 14th of December. So go get your copy at Näh Connection!
* I received this pattern for a review and blogpost. However all opinions are as always honest and my own.
Nice post
