There's a party at Stoffenfeest!

Er is er een jarig hoera. hoera, dat kun je wel zien dat is Stoffenfeest!!

Stoffenfeest bestaat 1 jaar en dat wordt gevierd met een week vol fantastische spelletjes en prijzen. Ik mocht alvast een mooi stofje uitzoeken om hier vandaag over te bloggen. Als jongensmoeder ben ik vooral heel enthousiast over de uitgebreide selectie joggingstof in de webshop. Ik koos uiteindelijk voor een heerlijk zachte grijze jogging met zwarte plusjes en een effen zwarte jogging, maar er staan er nog veel meer op mijn wensenlijstje!

Today I have a post in both Dutch and English because we're celebrating the 1 year anniversary of the Dutch fabric webshop Stoffenfeest (fabrics can be shipped to Belgium, Denmark, the UK, Germany and Sweden, other countries on request). It's a party week with lots of games and prices and I already got to choose a fabric to showcase here today. As a boys mum I'm thrilled with the huge range of sweatshirt fabric Stoffenfeest has online. I finally went with the grey sweat fabric with the plus signs and the plain black sweat fabric, but there are so much more fabrics from this webshop on my wishlist. 

Ik maakte een hoodie en een lekkere joggingbroek zodat beide boefjes tevreden zijn met iets nieuws. De hoodie is de Longihood, een Duits patroon van Erbsenprinzessin, ook verkrijgbaar in Engels in de Näh Connection shop. Dit is alweer mijn vierde exemplaar en ik veranderde de halslijn van de hoodie door de capuchon iets eerder te laten eindigen en ook nog rondom boordstof te gebruiken.

I made a hoodie and some comfy sweatpants now both rascals are happy with something new in their wardrobes. The hoodie is a German pattern by Erbsenprinzessin, also available in English in the Näh Connection webshop. This is the fourth vesrion I'm making with this pattern. I altered the neckline by using ribbing and slightly shortening the hood so there's no overlap in the front.

De joggingbroek is een Ottobre Design patroon (Free Motion Pants, issue 4/2016) die ik enigszins veranderde door wat colourblocking toe te voegen aan 1 van de broekspijpen.

The sweatpants are an Ottobre Design pattern (Free Motion Pants, issue 4/2016) I added some colourblocking to one of the legs. 

Deze joggingstoffen zijn heerlijk zacht en heel prettig om mee te werken, ik had deze kledingstukken vlot in elkaar zitten en de jongens zijn zeker fan!

These fabrics are so soft amd comfy and very easy to work with, I hade these garments ready in no time and the boys love them. 

Maar we zijn nog niet klaar want wie jarig is trakteert. dus het is tijd voor spelletjes en prijzen. Er kunnen vandaag twee mooie prijzen gewonnen worden: het Willi en Elli papieren patroon van Mamu-design en een patroon naar keuze van Rosie & Me.
