Sewing for me, leggings

One of my goals for 2014 is to start sewing for myself, a very brave goal I might add. I love sewing for the rascals but feel a bit uneasy by wearing something home made myself. High time to get out of my comfort zone and dive into this challenge. To start easy I made myself a pair of leggings using a knit recently purchased at MonDepot. I drafted the pattern by tracing a pair of good fitting leggings. I do realise there's another skill to master, taking selfies isn't easy.

  1. Fantastic print! Love it with the shorts, those worked out great! Totally agree about selfies, I'm rubbish at them. I don't know how anyone ever takes a really good photo with a phone, actually :-)

    1. Thanks Jo! I think I'm going to practice with the delayed action shutter of my camera (never used it before).

  2. Hi, I saw the photo of the beautiful flowered white top with the curved hem which was on pinterest I believe. I am looking for the pattern, can you help me please? It looks like it has a princess line and long sleeves. Many thanks, Margaret
