A new designer in town! Keep an eye out for Pienkel

Hey you, I've got something for the girl mama's among you. My life long friend Pienkel plonged into the deep and started designing her own patterns. And she's on fire! I tested the Hiekka skirt for her just before our summer holiday and now I finally get around blogging it, she's already releasing a new cute skirt pattern today!

First up, you already know I don't usually sew for girls, but I loved helping to test for Nienke and give her a shout out. Besides, big rascal's girlfriend can always use an extra skirt.
The Hiekka skirt is a wrap skirt with options for either a rounded front or a square front. It can be made lined or fully reversible and closes with ribbons or an optional snap. The instructions are accompanied by pictures and it's a straightforward sew, perfect for a beginner level or for those of you who just want to wip up a cute skirt in no time. I made this one in a nice woven from Lillestof

And since Pienkel is releasing her second pattern the Dynni Skirt today she has a nice discount in her shop, from 9 till the 16th of September you get 25% off by using the code DYNNILAUNCH25 Both patterns are available in English and Dutch.
Curious what Dynni looks like? Here's the official pattern collage by Pienkel.
