Sewing my own active wear, the Go To Knit Pants by Andrea Pannell for Go To Patterns

Hey all, how is January working out for you? Still holding on to your resolutions? Over here this is happening:

Yep I'm running again. Well running... I'm trying to run again. Little rascal started attending school this month, so I have some extra time on my hands. The perfect opportunity to get fit. So far so good. I'm actually really enjoying it, and making my own active wear makes it even more fun!

I think active wear is perfect for going a little crazy. Colours or patterns you wouldn't dream of wearing in everyday life are apparently business as usual when you look at running gear. Neon's and animal prints are all over the place. So I'm planning to go all out and make myself a crazy running wardrobe.

As part of my monthly Go To Patterns show and tell, I received the Go To Knit Pants for women and made the leggings option (affiliate links). The pattern also contains a cropped lounge pants with pockets and a straight leg pants, so three different styles to suit every need.
The leggings are an easy and a straightforward sew. This is the size M in a lycra fabric I had in my stash and still wonder how I got it and what on earth I was planning to do with this. Oh well, it has a purpose now!

* I received this pattern for a review and blogpost. However all opinions are as always honest and my own.  If you buy something on the Go To Patterns website via my affiliate links, I get a small commission, thank you for that!
