I made my second staple dress (pattern by April Rhodes). The staple dress consists out of just two pattern pieces and is an easy sew with a neat french seam finish. The instructions indicate shirring the waist but I decided to leave it as it is. This way it can be worn as a dress with a little belt or more like a tunic with jeans underneath.

Want to know where I got this grey fabric? Yep, again from my upcycle stash, it's a curtain sample.
So did you make anything for selfish sewing week?
Leuk!
DeleteKnap! Simpel, maar toch erg stijlvol!
ReplyDeleteEs, this dress is effortless and gorgeous. But I don't have enough money to buy this suit because I need a professional academic writer UK who can help me in Easy Writing.
ReplyDeleteThere is no resemblance between the two in my opinion! A staple dress is one that you can wear again and it will always look excellent. Google Scholar thesis themes are simply a collection of ideas generated by someone - there is no assurance that any of them are genuinely good!
ReplyDeleteLeatheriza is offering a wide variety of handcrafted leather jackets online for men as well as leather jackets for women also we have handmade leather shoes for men with other leather products such as leather messenger bags.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this dress! I'm so glad you made it for yourself during Selfish Sewing Week. It's the perfect staple piece for any wardrobe.
